Community Arise Basic Disaster Ministry Training

This training provides an introduction to the unique and important role the faith community plays in disaster mitigation, preparation and response. You and your church will hear practical ideas on how to effectively respond to disaster in your community in cooperation with other churches, emergency management officials and the Disaster Recovery Ministry of the conference. Weekend of Learning: Lay Servant Ministries Training
Friday and Saturday, September 17 and 18, 2010 at Tuskawilla UMC, Casselberry
All classes require a total of 10 hours attendance on one weekend, which includes Friday night September 17th from 5:00 to 8:30 p.m., and all day Saturday, September 18th, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sessions include dinner on Friday and lite breakfast and lunch on Saturday.
